Demonlover : Movie Review

Demonlover
Directed by Olivier Assayas
With Connie Nielsen, Charles Berling, Chloë Sevigny,. .. .

The fight between two big firms has begun. .. That fight have to give to the winner the leadership of erotic's mangas on Internet. .. Diane is manipulated by that firms, and she have to manipulate her work's colleage to escape alive of that troubles. ..

What a weird movie ! Presented at Cannes for the last festival, the movie was booed by the audience. .. it wasn't deserved for many points.
The direction of Assayas is radically different of the one he used to do Les destinées sentimentales, his last film. Then, the plot is very complicated too understand, even a little blur, according to me, but the pleasure given by the beauty of pictures is more important, and makes the spectator forget the faults of Demonlover. The actors are great too. Connie Nielsen is scary in the role of a bad woman, and Charles Berling is unrecognizable ! He appears fat, hairless. .. and he 's still very good.
All in all, Demonlover is a good movie, quite unusual, even experimental, but very well directed. ..
