Super Troopers is the work of American comedy troupe Broken Lizard, and as befits their roots, it's more like a series of sketches than a movie.
It centres on a bone-idle bunch of State Troopers somewhere in Vermont who spend their time playing pranks on speeders, smoking dope and generally behaving like the frat-house boys the film was clearly made for.
