AHEAD OF THE HOTLY ANTICIPATED FILM X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE
20TH CENTURY FOX LAUNCHES TWO UNIQUE GAMES SET TO THRILL FANS…

TIME WARRIOR AND WEAPON X

… AND OFFER THEM THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO GET UP, CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH HUGH JACKMAN ON TWITTER

London, 21 April 2009. Excited X-Men fans can get their fix of Wolverine ahead of the hotly anticipated new movie via two awesome new games based on the film: TIME WARRIOR, available via the official movie website, and viral game WEAPON X, which is fully integrated on both Facebook and MySpace.

Exclusively available on the movie’s official website, TIME WARRIOR
(www.x-menorigins.com/timewarrior) allows fans to become Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine himself, fighting alongside Sabertooth through three historical battles from the film. As an exciting and rare bonus, fans who fight their way through the first level also gain access to an extended clip from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, released on Wednesday 29th April 2009 in the UK.

In the viral game WEAPON X, players become geneticists in the clandestine Weapon X Program, their mission: to create the ultimate soldier by selecting and mixing mutant genes. Each WEAPON X soldier will each be pitted against other mutant creations, earning points and unlocking new mutant genes along the way, with the aim of moving up the global leader board to become the world’s ultimate mutant superhero.

WEAPON X is fully integrated on both Facebook and MySpace enabling players to challenge their friends to create their own mutant soldiers.

With excitement surrounding the release of X-Men Origins: Wolverine already at fever pitch ahead of the UK release on 29 April 2009, eager fans can also follow Hugh Jackman on Twitter @realhughjackman. Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people through short text messages, and Hugh Jackman is ‘tweeting’ as the action happens throughout his promotional world tour.
