Room in Rome (2010) - Synopsis

Written and directed by acclaimed director Julio Medem, and loosely based on the Chilean film “In the bed”, Room in Rome focuses entirely on the experiences of two protagonists. Like Medem’s previous films, it is an exploration of desire. Two young women, Alba and Natasha, meet in Rome and share an intense night together, full of secrets and physical passion. Night and day, over a period of twelve hours, the two women unravel their lives. The next morning they go their separate ways and back to their respective partners, always to remember that magical night.
