Heartbreak Ridge (1986) - Details

Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway (Clint Eastwood) is a crusty, old-school, fighting Marine whose commitment to his country and his Corps ended his marriage. Now nearing the end of his career, Medal of Honor winner Highway is given a lazy, sloppy reconnaissance platoon with which he can coast to retirement. No one else cares if these Marines get adequate training, but Sgt. Highway intends to turn them into "heart breakers and life takers" before they are sent into battle.
