Michael makes an honest living, working in a gas station – a far cry from the drug and alcohol fuelled life he used to lead. One night he encounters Stuart – a stylish man, who’s writing a novel. He persuades Michael to aide him in his research and mission – to find real answers to life on the dark side of Los Angeles. What harm could that do? Descending steadily into the seedy world of crime and drugs, Michael runs the risk of succumbing to the desires and pleasures of the underworld – throwing away the new life he’d carved with his pregnant wife. Will Michael escape the lures and pressures of temptation – how will he escape the extraordinary entrancement of Stuart, to return to his normal life in the gas station?
