Daniel Craig Undergoes Surgery For Bond Set Injury.


Daniel Craig will undergo an ankle surgery for an injury he sustained earlier this month while filming Bond 25.

"Daniel Craig will be undergoing a minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica. The production will continue whilst Craig is rehabilitating for two weeks post-surgery."

"The film remains on track for the same release date in April 2020," announced the franchise's official Twitter account.

In the new film Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help.

The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Ralph Fiennes, Léa Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch and Rami Malek star.

Cary Joji Fukunaga directs the film which features a script written by Fukunaga, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
