Lana Wachowski is enlisting the help of another of her old "Sense8" friends for the forthcoming fourth entry in "The Matrix" franchise.

German actor Max Riemelt, who played Wolfgang in the Netflix series which Wachowski co-created, will join his former co-star Toby Onwumere along with actors Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff and returnees Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Filming is scheduled to begin shortly from a script Wachowski co-wrote the script with Aleksander Hemon and David Mitchell. Wachowski will direct as well.

The fourth "The Matrix" film opens May 2021.
