Liam Neeson is set to star in Casino Royale director Martin Campbell's action thriller Memory, an English-language remake of the 2003 Dutch film The Memory of a Killer, with Dario Scardapane writing the screenplay.
Neeson will star in "Memory" as an assassin who finds himself a target after he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization. He has to go on the run to survive from both the other killers and the FBI that’s also on his tail.
Stx International will handle sales rights introducing the film to buyers at the European Film Market, and CAA Media Finance will handle North American distribution rights.
The original film was directed by Erik Van Looy and adapted from the novel by Jef Geeraerts. The new Memory will be produced by Black Bear Pictures and Welle Entertainment with STXinternational distributing.
