Hollywood beauty CHARLIZE THERON is a bad kisser - because her first smooch put her off boys for life.

The CIDER HOUSE RULES actress remembers her first kissing experience, when she was just 12 years old, as an absolute nightmare. She says, "He was supposed to come over to watch a movie and then get a kiss.

The movie was FRIDAY THE 13TH, so that was a great start for an important romantic interlude. "Then his mom came early. There we were in the back yard trying to get into position and into some semblance of mood while she was beeping the car horn. "We began arguing about whether we should put it off until a less stressful time, then we just went for it. It was awful. He had braces. Saliva and tongue. It put me off the whole idea of kissing for a long time."

And even though she gets to lip lock with handsome MATT DAMON in the new movie THE LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE, Theron admits Damon may not have been in for a treat. She says, "I suspect I might not be a good kisser because that first time was such a dreadful mess." (SVD/WNWC/NFA)
