Former BEATLE SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY has hinted at the possibility of marriage in the future for himself and girlfriend HEATHER MILLS.

Sir Paul, 58, has talked frankly about his feelings for ex-model Heather and how she has helped him deal with the death of his wife LINDA from cancer in 1998. When asked about the possibility of marriage he said, "You never know... life develops. I feel better than I've felt for a couple of years, but what they don't tell you is that time heals by erasing."

The LOVE ME DO star went on to say, "In one respect I want to be as close to Linda as when she was alive; but the healing aspect is the other."
