Pop queen MADONNA has banned white stretch limos and hats at her wedding.

She and groom GUY RITCHIE, 32, announced the ban as they posted their wedding banns at a tiny Scottish register office. The pop legend, 42, hates white limos because she thinks that they are "tacky" and she reckons hats are too old-fashioned for her big day on 22 December (00) at romantic Skibo Castle near Dornoch in north-east Scotland.

Even though Madonna was raised a Roman Catholic it is expected the ceremony will follow her Buddhist religion. Guests at the wedding are likely to include ex-soccer (football) hardman and LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS star VINNIE JONES, STING and actress wife TRUDI STYLER, gay actor RUPERT EVERETT, fashion designer DONATELLA VERSACE, British bra model KELLY BROOK and actor boyfriend JASON STATHAM and Oscar-winner GWYNETH PALTROW.

Male guests will arrive at the venue on the Monday (18DE00) for Ritchie;s stag do allowing them plenty of time to recover before the Friday ceremony. The guests will be entertained by folk singer CESARIA EVORA although the MATERIAL GIRL is not expected to sing at the event.
