Film tough guy ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER needed a little protection as a minder shielded him at his latest movie premiere - from the rain.
The 53-year-old actor was in London for the screening of his new film THE 6TH DAY and was flanked by a bodyguard with an umbrella to keep off a heavy downpour.
The star spent 10 minutes on a walkabout meeting members of a 200-strong crowd gathered outside the ODEON in Kensington. Schwarzenegger has long been a fan of London since visiting in the 1960s for a bodybuilding competition.
He says, "It was 34 years ago I came to London the first time and I was placed second in the MR UNIVERSE competition. "Of course, since then I've come back many more times for my films and to promote books and I always love to come back here."
Rock star JON BON JOVI and his band put in a fleeting appearance simply to say hello to the star at the premiere just two hours after landing in Britain to promote a new single. Bon Jovi says, "Arnie and I are dear old friends - we always try to get along to see his films."
