The trial of rapper SEAN "PUFFY" COMBS has undergone a slight change of cast - a lawyer has left the bench due to "conflicting interests".

Puff's co-defendant, bodyguard ANTHONY 'WOLF' JONES, has switched counsel from EDWARD HAYES to MICHAEL BACHNER.
Top litigator Hayes withdrew from the case because, "I felt I had a conflict."

For a few hours on the night that Combs and Jones were arrested after a December 1999 shooting at a New York nightclub, Hayes represented the driver of Puffy's car, WARDELL FENDERSON, who is expected to be an important prosecution witness.
