LATEST: ALLY MCBEAL star CALISTA FLOCKHART is said to be recovering following her collapse on the set of her hit American TV show.

The thin star was admitted to the TORRENCE HOSPITAL in California, suffering with dehydration and exhaustion, and was put on a drip and ordered to rest for two days following her collapse on Wednesday (13DEC00).

However, last night (16DEC00) an executive on the show said, "She is feeling much better." An insider says that emotions have been running high on the set since the arrest of co-star ROBERT DOWNEY JR on drugs charges, and also that Calista's home life is under strain because her dog, WEBSTER, doesn't like her boyfriend, LARRY SANDERS star GARRY SHANDLING.
