New Friends For Friends
SUSAN SARANDON and LIZ HURLEY are set to join the cast of FRIENDS next year (01).
Sarandon will be first up when she films an episode as a soap opera diva who befriends MATT LE BLANC's character JOEY in January (01). She says, "It's pretty scary. I'm about to vomit." Meanwhile, Hurley has been asked by Friends star MATTHEW PERRY to take a role in the sitcom.
The couple met up on the set of new movie SERVICING SARAH and Hurley has told pals she can't wait to join the cast of the sitcom. Perry invited BRUCE WILLIS to join the cast in 1999 while they were working on THE WHOLE NINE YARDS.
