Survivor To Survive Through Two More Series

CBS is not waiting to see how its second Survivor series will do before ordering additional episodes. It announced Tuesday that it has ordered two more series packages and plans to air Survivor III next fall. Speaking to reporters at the winter press tour in Pasadena, CBS chief Les Moonves joked that he hopes to see Survivor XX and XXI air on the network. Moonves also said that CBS is moving its hit new drama C.S.I. to Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. with the debut of Survivor II in the 8:00 p.m. Thursday spot on Feb. 1. (The initial episode of Survivor II is set to follow the Super Bowl on Jan. 28.)
