A Big Spin On The Web For Rings

Coinciding with Friday's release of the theatrical trailer for Lord of the Rings, New Line Films plans to launch perhaps the most elaborate Internet site ever to promote any film, the Wall Street Journal indicated today (Wednesday). The site will reportedly serve up a steady stream of information about the making of the film in advance of its release next December. (Three separate Rings movies were filmed simultaneously, with one due to be released each year through 2004.) So elaborate is the site that it can be accessed in 10 foreign languages and will eventually include interviews and videos of nearly every crew and cast member, the WSJ said.
