Former JAMES BOND star SIR SEAN CONNERY is set to spend millions to save a film about beheaded royal MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS. The $67.5 million (£45 million) epic, billed 'BRAVEHEART for girls', has been in the pipeline for three years waiting for funding.

Now Connery has pledged support through his company FOUNTAINBRIDGE FILMS. (RP/WNTRE/KW)
