ALMOST FAMOUS star KATE HUDSON was shattered when she rang her mum GOLDIE HAWN for some advice about a topless scene in the her new film - because she was told she had small breasts.

Kate had second thoughts when her breasts made their acting debut in one hot and heavy scene in ABOUT ADAM - so consulted her PRIVATE BENJAMIN star mother. She says, "I rang my mum for advice, but that was a bad idea.

She said,'Honey, you've got really small breasts. All you're going to see is the nipple, who cares?' "That's right up there in the Great Mothering Moments Of All Time. I shouldn't have given that scene a second thought really, because About Adam isn't that kind of film. "And I certainly shouldn't have asked my mum for some soothing words, she's not that kind of mum." (RXT/II/CPT)
