Hollywood heart-throb BEN AFFLECK split up with GYWNETH PALTROW - because he enjoyed drinking and smoking.

The GOOD WILL HUNTING star admits that his love of booze and cigarettes and his hyperactive nature caused problems in his relationship with the actress - who maintains a clean and healthy lifestyle.

He says, "Gywneth's yoga lifestyle was hard on me. Germ grass and meditation is just not my thing. I would say that we're not together because Gywneth is much more evolved than I am - and much closer to inner peace and sense of calm. Whereas I am much more frenetic. "I need to be active.
