Melanie Griffiths Wants To Be A Working Girl Again

Actress MELANIE GRIFFITH is set to make a sequel to her 1988 movie WORKING GIRL - to revive her flagging career.

The actress, who won an OSCAR nomination for her role in the hit film, has been working on a draft script for the movie. She's now talking to movie studios about getting it into production. In the movie, Griffith played an ambitious secretary who finds herself posing as her unpleasant female boss after the latter ends up in a skiing accident.

HARRISON FORD and SIGOURNEY WEAVER co-starred, although sources say it's unlikely either would return for a sequel. But Griffith reckons her husband, ANTONIO BANDERAS, would be perfect for the movie, although there's no word on whether the Spanish star has agreed.

Griffith's recent film credits include CECIL B. DEMENTED, CRAZY IN ALABAMA and ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE. (RGS/WNWCPO/CPT)
