Heartbroken rapper SEAN 'PUFFY' COMBS is trying to win back girlfriend JENNIFER LOPEZ - with 100 white doves.

The I'LL BE MISSING YOU star, currently on trial for gun related charges in New York, made the romantic gesture last week (23JAN01) by phoning Lopez at a hotel in Los Angeles, and telling her to go onto the balcony.

Sexy singer Lopez was greeted to a fly-past by the birds, closely followed by a 100 pink balloons. Lopez has previously stated her love of romantic gestures - however, if reports of the LOVE DON'T COST A THING star's new relationship with one of her dancers, CHRIS, are correct, Combs will have to think up many more to win back his gorgeous ex.
