STEVEN SPIELBERG is being sued for $10 million (£6.5 million) in New York by Irish producer JEROME O'CONNOR over censorship claims.

O'Connor claims Spielberg's DREAMWORKS studio restricted distribution of his film AN EVERLASTING PIECE in order to ingratiate himself with the British government. The movie mocks British troops and is sympathetic to the IRISH REPUBLICAN ARMY and O'Connor claims Dreamworks suppressed it because E.T. director Spielberg was in line for a knighthood.
