JENNIFER LOPEZ fears for her life after revelations of death threats against her boyfriend SEAN "PUFFY" COMBS.

During a new lawsuit, it's emerged that menacing messages - telling Combs to "watch yo muther f***er back...I know where you live," - were delivered to his Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, mansion - which he's renting out to tenant INGE BONGO, who is now suing him for poor maintenance of the property.

According to court papers filed in Los Angeles, Bongo became frightened for her life after numerous death threats appeared in her mailbox and on her doorstep. But friends of Lopez say the sexy singer and movie star is frightened that any wacko who targets her boyfriend, currently being tried for alleged gun possession in New York, could harm her too. A pal reveals, "It's terrifying for her. "It's frightening for both of them. And when all is said and done, it's the real reason their romance is ending.

"Jennifer's in way over her head and she knows it. She's convinced the gangsta world she got into is about to come back and haunt her. She didn't look beyond their music and fashion to see the casual violence that's so much a part of their world." (LE/TB/KW)
