A spokeswoman for the Writers Guild of America said Tuesday that negotiations between the guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers will continue "on a day-by-day basis" for the time being. The negotiations began on Jan. 22 and reportedly have been focused on demands by the writers for increased residuals. The current contract expires on May 2.
