Wacky actor DAVID ARQUETTE is so taken with the ELVIS PRESLEY costume he wears in his latest movie 3000 MILES TO GRACELAND, he has started wearing it to parties.

Arquette joins KURT RUSSELL, KEVIN COSTNER and CHRISTIAN SLATER as one of a group of Elvis lookalikes who plan an armed raid on a Las Vegas, Nevada, casino - during an Elvis convention.

And Arquette enjoyed dressing up as 'The King' so much, he purchased his Elvis stage costume, and even sent it to Memphis, Tennessee, to be studded with authentic gems from the HOUND DOG singer's home town.

His wife, FRIENDS star COURTENEY COX Arquette, says the Elvis outfit has already had one outing and she has no doubt it'll be coming back out of the wardrobe before long. She says, "He was Elvis for his niece's birthday this year (01) and I'm sure I'll see it some other times too. I'm not kidding, he has a lot of costumes. He always tries to take his film costumes home when the film wraps. "That's just who David is. He's so creative and he's such a unique person, that I love that he dresses in that way."
