BEN AFFLECK is desperately trying to persuade his mother to stop believing everything she reads about her movie star son. Affleck hates calls from his mother after she has read a piece about him in the tabloid press because she always believes them. He says, "She says, `Why are you dating that BRITNEY SPEAR (corr)?
