Spanish hunk ANTONIO BANDERAS has presented his wife MELANIE GRIFFITH with a platinum charm bracelet to celebrate her recent triumph over her addiction to prescription painkillers.

The 43-year-old WORKING GIRL left the DANIEL FREEMAN MARINA HOSPITAL in Marina del Ray, California in November (00) after developing an addiction to Vicodin.

The first charm on the celebratory bracelet cost $40,000 (£26,666) - and was in the shape of a Vicodin pill. THE MASK OF ZORRO star Banderas, 40, hopes the unique gift will inspire Melanie to remain sober forever.
