Heart-throb actor TOM CRUISE has ended another long-term love affair - losing both his wife and his faith in one year.

The MAGNOLIA (1999) star recently split with beautiful wife [NICOLE KIDMAN - and is now cutting his ties with the CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY.

Cruise's mental and financial commitment and donations to the group was said to have been one of the factors dividing the pair - Nicole last year (00) left the controversial Church and returned to Catholicism.

A spokesman says, "He has ended his association with the Church for personal reasons. "He has given them millions of dollars in the past, and he has now made a further very generous donation to end his association with goodwill." (KMW/WNSTE/NFA)
