JULIETTE BINOCHE has already won in the style stakes at the OSCARS - because she guessed this year's (01) theme correctly.

The French movie star called designer JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER on the same day she heard of her nomination for Best Actress, asking him to make her a black and white outfit.

And she was delighted when Oscar bosses sent news days later that black and white was the theme of the 2001 Academy Awards. She says, "I was delighted because I chose a black and white outfit.
