Total Movie, a just-launched movie fan magazine targeting males between the ages of 21 to 34 appears to be attracting the attention of advertisers, Dow Jones News reported Tuesday. According to the wire service, advertisers are particularly interested in the magazine's focus on film technology and DVDs. It quoted Warner Bros. exec Vito Mandato as saying, "They have identified a demographic that is probably the most interested in acquiring DVD's." Steve Aaron, the magazine's publisher, described the publication this way: "We're all about the movies, but we like action movies and adventure movies. ... If the question is, 'Would you cover Titanic?, we would -- but we'd probably be less interested in the love story, and more interested in the boat breaking apart."
