Golden couple CATHERINE ZETA JONES and MICHAEL DOUGLAS are set to star in a re-make of night of the iguana, The (1964)
The TENNESSEE WILLIAMS drama was originally filmed by JOHN HUSTON in 1964 starring AVA GARDNER and RICHARD BURTON.
Catherine is hoping to film a new version through her company MILKWOOD. Douglas would play the part of the alcoholic ex-priest posing as a tour guide in Mexico.
According to website, ANANOVA, a source close to the movie says, "Michael is very keen to do something which resembles stage work with Catherine. "They both feel the piece is perfect for them. There is so much electricity in the dialogue. They could really let rip. " (RP/WNWCAN)
