Tom Cruise Fulfils Second Lawsuit Threat

LATEST: TOM CRUISE has fulfiled his threat to sue the America's BOLD MAGAZINE editor MICHAEL DAVIS and filed a $100 million (£77 million) lawsuit.

The TOP GUN (1986) hunk launched the legal attack after Davis allegedly claimed he had a videotape that "proved" Cruise was homosexual.

The lawsuit alleges Davis sent e-mails offering a videotape of Cruise supposedly having sexual relations with an unnamed man. Cruise says the claims are "unequivocally false" and no such tape exists. The lawsuit was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

This is the second lawsuit in a month that Cruise has filed against someone who claims he is gay. On 2 May (01), he filed a $100 million lawsuit against CHAD SLATER - aka KYLE BRADFORD - a gay porn star and "erotic wrestler" who allegedly told French magazine ACTUSTAR that he had a fling with Cruise that led to the end of his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Bradford later denied ever speaking to the magazine, or ever meeting Cruise. Actustar denied the report was anything more than a rumour and reportedly agreed to publish a retraction. But the star has had enough, as his lawyer explains, "Tom is tired of it and it hurts his children. It's something that will be there forever. And damn it, he's going to stop it. " (KW/WNWCAN/KMW)
