world is Not Enough, The (1999) star PIERCE BROSNAN has hired Irish traditional music kings THE CHIEFTAINS to play at his wedding next month (04AUG01). The 007 actor will have the veteran group play at the reception in ASHFORD CASTLE in Cong, Co Mayo.

The glitzy event will be attended by more than 200 friends and family of Brosnan and fiancee KEELY SHAYE-SMITH, as well as a smattering of Hollywood stars. Brosnan has sold the picture rights to British glossy HELLO! magazine, and extra security will be flown in to keep photographers at bay on the big day.

The 500-year-old Ashford Castle holds a special place in Brosnan's heart as he once holidayed there with his late wife CASSANDRA. (RXT/IST/ES)
