WILLIAM H MACY prepared for his role in the BOOGIE NIGHTS (1997) by going to see a real porn film being made.

The JURASSIC PARK 3 (2001) star played a porn film camera operator in the blockbuster, and says he found researching the role an interesting experience.

Macy says, "I went to a porn shoot, which was as confusing, grotesque and sexy as you'd imagine. At first it was titillating, then it was odd, and ultimately it was boring. It was very much like watching a porn film at home. Only on set, there's no fast forward button. Or pause, come to think of it!" (IG/E/KMW)
