Hollywood's fallen couple TOM CRUISE and NICOLE KIDMAN are to reunite tonight (7AUG01) on the eve of their divorce. The pair will be attending the Los Angeles premiere and party for OTHERS, the (2001), a thriller produced by Cruise and starring Kidman.

Kidman says that she will smile her way through the screening, saying, "Yes, it is strange and bizarre and all of those things. But it is what it is. As my dad says, 'Nic, it is what it is, it's not what it should have been. '"

"I think it will be anticlimactic," she says. "It's been a strange 2001 for me, absolutely strange and surreal and weird. And it's my life. "

The MOULIN ROUGE (2001) star says she was trying not to let the trauma of the last six months change her. "I'm a person that carries everything that happened to me in my past with me into the future. I refuse to let it make me bitter. I still completely believe in love and I remain open to anything that will happen to me. " (ACW/WNTMA/RP)
