Irish hunk COLIN FARRELL is in talks to star in gritty drama INTERMISSION.

The Dublin-based project will be the first local film Farrell has made since the 1999 flick Ordinary, Decent Criminal (2000)

Since then Farrell has been catapulted into the Hollywood spotlight, thanks to his critically-acclaimed performance in JOEL SCHUMACHER's war movie TIGERLAND (2000). Filming on Intermission is expected to get underway either later this year, or early 2002. (RP/WNWCPO)
