Ben Stiller's Depressive Days

Hollywood star BEN STILLER enjoys playing the funnyman, but it does not come easily - he is also a manic depressive. And the MEET THE PARENTS (2000) actor knows he is not alone as depression runs in his family.

He says, "I have not been an easygoing guy. I think it's called bipolar manic depression. I've got a rich history of that in my family. Our family has publicly gone into therapy, so that's out in the open. "

And Stiller admits his mood swings make him difficult to work with. While directing his father, JERRY STILLER, and wife, CHRISTINE TAYLOR, in ZOOLANDER (2001) he often lost his temper.

He says, "I'm not proud of the fact that I lost my temper. Everybody's human. Sometimes you just blow up. " (KMW/WNWCPS
