Kate Hudson's Aide Insists She's Not Guilty

The aide of KATE HUDSON is suing over a missing $65,000 (£50,000) insists she's not guilty - and her lawyer believes the evidence will prove it. ARTHUR BARENS, lawyer for Hudson's former PA MARGARET MILLER, says there's no truth to the lawsuit whatsoever.

He says, "It's simply inaccurate. I feel it's very important to note that on clothing purchases the evidence is going to show who the clothing was for. Our clients are, to say the least, not the same size. It's important to remember that all of the bills in question here were paid by Kate's business managers, not by my client. They were all approved and paid for. "

Barens says his client is preparing to counter-sue for lost earnings as she regularly worked overtime and was never payed for that. He also claims Kate and Margaret have been in touch since the legal proceedings began - something Kate's representatives deny.

He says, "Incredibly it was a rather friendly conversation with Kate being rather reassuring to my client and telling her not to worry. " (SVD/WNV/NFA)
