Former child star MACAULAY CULKIN is relieved his profile has receded - because there "was nothing good about fame". Culkin, who will be 21 on Sunday (26AUG01), became a household name when he was only ten-year-old after appearing in the massively successful slapstick comedy HOME ALONE (1990).
But after tumultuous teenage years, including a massive falling out with his parents and a short lived marriage to actress RACHEL MINER, Macaulay has realised that fame doesn't bring happiness. He says, "There was nothing good about the fame. It didn't get me friends or girlfriends or happiness or popularity. " (CPT/WNWCPS/IG)
