Keanu Loved Being Hero To On-Set Kids

Hollywood hunk KEANU REEVES had a good time playing with all the kids in his new film HARDBALL (2001) - but they made him feel old. The GIFT heart-throb stars as an aimless drifter who ends up coaching Little League baseball in the movie, and one of the highlights of filming was the adoration of his younger co-stars.

He says, "They were thrilled that they were meeting the MATRIX guy. They actually made me do a bunch of Matrix moves for them between takes. It was fine because I love that kind of pure excitement about anything. "

He adds, "The weird thing was I was the oldest guy on the set many days. It's difficult to be the elder. You want to tell the kids, 'Okay, I'm older than you so go eat your lunch now. '" (CBPB/WN/NFA)
