Two British films have had their release dates moved forward in the hope they'll scoop awards at next year's OSCARS (02). CHARLOTTE GRAY (2001), starring CATE BLANCHETT, and IRIS (2001), which stars KATE WINSLET and JUDI DENCH, where originally slated for release next year, but will now be released in America and Canada in December (01).
But another Cate Blanchett film, HEAVEN (2001), will suffer. It has been moved from a December opening to March next year. (RP/WNWCGG/NFA)
