Training day (2001), released last week, has risen to the top of the box office charts giving new hope and comfort to America, following the terrorist attacks. Audience attendance has risen 35 %, over the weekend.

Training Day (2001), starring Denzel Washington who plays a bent copper (also starring Ethan Hawke), has been a massive success, earning over $24 million so far.

The film's release was delayed, due to the attacks.
