Jennifer Lopez In Prime Suspect Talks
Latino beauty JENNIFER LOPEZ is in the running for the lead role in the movie version of PRIME SUSPECT.
Writer LYNDA LA PLANTE said last night she had been speaking to producers about Lopez - girlfriend of PUFF DADDY - playing detective JANE TENNISON in the long-awaited movie.
She said film bosses did not want to cast HELEN MIRREN - who played the role in the hit TV series - because they intend to relocate the story to an American precinct. (RGS/WNTST/PDD)
