A cult internet reporter has watched the latest Star Wars instalment months before its cinematic release.

Journalist Harry Knowles, who runs the net's famed film site Ain't It Cool News, watched a rough cut of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) in a hotel room. And fortunately for creator George Lucas, the influential Knowles gave it the thumbs up, saying, "I love this film desperately - I want to watch it continuously for a week with my friends "

Notorious control freak Lucas and producers from his Lucasfilm company have launched a probe into the embarrassing leak.
