Julia Roberts' surprise at ex-lover Benjamin Bratt's marriage has now become raging jealously - because she can't wed her beau.

Miss Congeniality (2000) hunk Bratt wed his sexy Piñero (2001) co-star Talisa Soto on 13th April (2002) in a private San Francisco, California, ceremony - after just five months of dating. And Oscar-winning actress Roberts is unsettled by the fact the she doesn't have the option to do the same thing with her cameraman boyfriend Danny Moder, because he's still married.

A source says, "It was like a slap in the face. Julia and Ben broke up last year (2001) and after nearly four years together and she's furious that he beat her to the altar."

Roberts, 34, has been with Moder, 33, since last summer (2001). Sources say that early in the relationship, the actress made it clear that she wanted legal commitment from him, according to American tabloid the Globe. They have exchanged rings and Roberts even got them matching bracelets that have "husband" and "wife" inscribed on them. But Moder has yet to finalise his divorce from wife Vera.

A pal adds, "She's jealous that Ben has managed to recover so quickly from their split and find the woman of his dreams. Julia wishes she could have beaten him down the aisle, just to prove that she's landed on her feet after the break-up. "
