According to Michael Douglas's official website the couple are expecting their next child in the spring of 2003. A statement says, "Apparently, with the upcoming release of Michael's next film, A Few Good Years, which stars three generations of Douglases, Michael and Catherine felt there was room for some more!"

Michael has a 23 year old son from his first marriage to Diandra Luker, and Catherine Zeta Jones is very keen to have more kids, "I'd like to try next year because Dylan is two in August and I'd like as many as I can pop out. Michael and I were talking about this the other night. I'm one of three, so I have it in my head that three is the perfect number. But Michael is one of two, so he wants one more, but yes, I'd like to have three, or as many as I can."
