Weekend previews of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets look set to break UK box office records.

Warner Bros estimate the film made £7.8million over the weekend.

That compares to £6.6million made by Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone when it previewed last year.

The first film held the record for the film which made the most money in the UK during previews.

Analysts are now predicting the sequel will be a bigger box office hit than the first film which made over £58million in the UK alone
