Olypic Gold Is Also Golden At Chinese TV Stations


China's state-owned Central TV Station (CCTV) said Tuesday that, thanks to strong performances by the Chinese team in Sydney, advertising revenue for its Olympics coverage has doubled in September.

With China ranking second in the medals tally as of Tuesday, audiences have swelled, prompting more advertisers to buy spots and TV stations to increase their rates, the South China Morning Post observed today (Wednesday).
